Lets get creative and take control & get out of Auto? This course is perfect for anyone using a DSLR, CSC, Mirror-less, Advanced Compact or a Bridge Camera with Manual controls.
We will jump straight into the workshop lots to learn but in bite size chunks and in a relaxed fun learning environment. There will be opportunities to ask questions, as well as lots of practical exercises.
You will be given handouts on the day to help learn & understand as we covering the 3 main setting: ISO, Aperture (F-Stop) & Shutter Speed.
As well as a A5 booklet that will help you master your photography on-the-go.
Homework before you start on this creative journey please take time to learn to navigate though your camera. What buttons do what and where they are on your camera. This will help you a great deal and move you forward on your path to begone a better photographer.
On The Day
This day is designed for the new photographer or anyone that needs to be brought up to date with digital photography. During the day we will cover a broad range of topics related to basic digital photography, encouraging you to get the best from your camera and take your first steps in moving away from Auto.
Its time to get out there with your new camera skills.
We meet up at a chosen location and start a photography walk so you’ll need to dress appropriately I can’t stress how important convertible footwear is. The more you get out with your camera the faster you’ll learn and understand photography. You Tube videos can only help you so much…
It’s important to enjoy take your time as we walk along the prom, beach and capture the day though your lens.
Finish off with a chat over coffee/tea about the day and a Q&A for all it’s great to share the positive’s and the not so to help us all.
What happens on the day?
A variety of theory and practical, these topics are delivered in a fun, enthusiastic and with less tech more in the way of looking creatively . By the end of the day you will feel confident controlling your camera and have improved your photographic knowledge, skills and techniques. Training lasts for approximately 6 hours which will include time for breaks. Free tea and coffee.
What do I need?
No previous knowledge about Photography is required.
Please note that the One day workshop does not include a lunch break. Lunch is not provided within the price.
The 2 day workshop does cover lunch on the saturday at a locale eatery with a wide choice of dishes vegetarian, vegan and amazing specialist coffee.
